Its higher area moment of inertia along the x-axis makes it the right choice wherever the primary load acts in one dominant direction - typical in cantilever frames, machine guards, and conveyor structures. M12 and M16 connections are available in all core bores; D17 bores in slots B/F and C/E; D17V bores in slots A/D.
