Ring lights are annular LED illuminators for industrial machine vision and optical inspection that light the target from all sides with minimal shadow. The range includes Starlight and Vision models in light colours such as pure white 6500K, green 528 nm and UV and IR versions (UV 375 nm, IR 880 nm). The lights are matched to defined working distances, for example 5 mm to 25 mm or 50 mm to 800 mm, and cover clamping diameters up to around 81 mm. Segment ring lights and reducing rings, for instance 40 mm to 38 mm, complete the assortment.
Typical applications: Ring lights are used in machine vision systems, on microscopes and in optical quality control, where coaxial illumination minimises reflections and shadows. Selection is driven by the light colour (white, green or UV/IR) matched to the inspected feature, the required working distance and the lens clamping diameter; reducing rings adapt the mount.
