Cam roller guides from Bosch Rexroth of the LWA series run on cam rollers along profiled rails, giving quiet, fast motion with low sensitivity to dirt. The programme covers block designs such as SUPER AL, U-FORM AL and PROFIL AL as well as single cassettes (for example LWA-020, LWA-025, LWA-042, LWA-052). It is completed by lube units (lube unit 42) and end stops (stop 32, 52).
Cam roller principle - Cam rollers instead of balls allow high speeds, quiet running and tolerance to contamination.
Designs - SUPER AL, U-FORM AL, PROFIL AL blocks and a single cassette in sizes 020 to 052.
Lubrication - Lube unit 42 keeps the cam rollers permanently supplied with lubricant.
End stops - Stop 32 and 52 limit the stroke and define end positions.
Typical applications: Cam roller guides suit long travel, high speeds and environments with chips or dust, for example in handling, woodworking and packaging. Selection follows size, block design (narrow, wide or U-form), travel speed and load. Lube units and end stops complete the axis.
