Its asymmetric cross-section delivers a significantly higher area moment of inertia in the x-direction (Ix = 63.4 cm⁴) than in the y-direction (Iy = 17.3 cm⁴), allowing load-optimized orientation within the structure. Factory machining includes M12 threads in all core holes plus D17 and D17V bores in the respective slots, enabling direct bolted connections without additional drilling.
