The 40x80L strut profile serves as a load-bearing longitudinal or diagonal element in workstation systems, guarding structures, and machine frames built on the 40 mm modular grid. Its asymmetric cross-section delivers a substantially higher area moment of inertia in the x-direction compared with a square 40x40 profile, making it the right choice wherever the primary load acts perpendicular to the wide face. Six open slots accept standard T-bolts and connecting brackets; M12 core bores in all profile axes allow direct fastening without additional drilling. Material is anodized aluminum; the profile is ESD-compatible.
