The 40x160L strut profile is an asymmetric extruded aluminum section from the Bosch Rexroth assembly technology system, designed for load-bearing frames, machine bases and structural assemblies where high bending stiffness along the primary load axis is required. The anodized surface (color: natural) provides corrosion resistance and meets ESD requirements.
- High bending stiffness in the x-direction: area moment of inertia Ix = 466.7 cm⁴, moment of resistance Wx = 58.3 cm³ - suited for heavily loaded beams and cantilever spans
- 10 open slots (slot width 10 mm, modular dimension 40 mm) allow connections on all faces using standard connectors, brackets and accessories
- Factory pre-machined: M12 threads in all core pulls, D17 holes in slots B/J, C/I, D/H and E/G - reduces on-site machining effort significantly
- ESD-rated: safe for use in electrostatically sensitive production and assembly environments
- Material: aluminum, anodized - lightweight and corrosion-resistant (profile cross-section A = 20.5 cm², mass 5.5 kg/m)
