Notice on product images and the use of artificial intelligence
- Product images are for illustration only. They do not describe the agreed quality of the goods and do not constitute a guarantee.
- Some images were created or edited in whole or in part with AI. Every product page points this out.
- Your order confirmation, the product description and the technical data are binding.
01Scope
This notice applies to all product images, detail views and application images used by A1-ESD Equipment GmbH (“we”) in this online shop and in the product data we provide, for example to price comparison and shopping services.
02Origin of the images
Most of our images are supplied by the respective manufacturers. Where no suitable manufacturer image is available or where it is technically inadequate, we create or edit images ourselves. For this we also use artificial intelligence (AI) systems.
03What we use AI for
AI assists us solely with image preparation, in particular to
- cut out or standardise backgrounds,
- remove dust, reflections, image noise and capture errors,
- align colour, brightness, sharpness and framing,
- add views the manufacturer does not provide, for example a rear or side view.
- We do not add functions, features or accessories that the item does not have.
- We do not create or alter test, conformity or standard markings such as CE or ESD markings.
- We do not alter rating plates, part numbers or manufacturer details.
04Labelling under the AI Act
We disclose the use of AI in product images and take into account the transparency obligations under Art. 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act). Every product page shows a notice directly below the image gallery that links to this page.
The notice does not mean that every image of the item concerned was created or edited with AI. On request we will tell you whether and how a specific image was edited.
05Binding information
Images may differ from the delivered item, in particular in colour, surface, proportion, version, labelling and accessories. Colour rendering also depends on your screen. The following order of precedence applies to quality, dimensions, technical properties and scope of delivery:
- Individual agreementsin particular our quotation and our order confirmation
- Product description and technical dataon the respective product page
- Manufacturer documentsdata sheets and manuals in the Downloads section, as a supplement
Accessories, decoration or additional equipment shown in an image are only included in the delivery if they are expressly listed in the product description. An image on its own does not constitute an agreement on quality or a guarantee.
06Your rights
Your statutory rights in respect of defects and the provisions of our General Terms and Conditions remain unaffected. This notice does not restrict any mandatory statutory rights.
07Questions before ordering
If the exact appearance of an item matters to you, for example colour or version for the design of a workstation, please ask us before ordering. We will check the details with the manufacturer and, where available, provide original manufacturer photographs.
08Rights to the images
The images and their compilation may be protected by copyright and related rights. Rights to manufacturer images belong to the respective manufacturers. Trademarks, product names and logos are the property of their respective owners. Reproduction or further use without the consent of the rights holder is not permitted.
Send us the part number. We will check the actual appearance with the manufacturer.
