Precision steel shafts Bosch Rexroth

Ball bushing guides Bosch Rexroth

Precision steel shafts from Bosch Rexroth form the raceway for ball bushing guides. The range covers hollow shafts of the WOD series (for example WOD4-10-600, WOD4-16-600, WODR4-13-600) and solid shafts of the WVD series (for example WVD4-10-600, WVD4-13-600) in nominal diameters from 4 to 16 mm and standard lengths of 200 and 600 mm. The shafts are hardened and ground so the ball bushings run with low play and low wear.

📏 Size range - Nominal diameters 4, 6, 8, 10, 13 and 16 mm, lengths 200 and 600 mm from stock.
⚙️ Hollow and solid - WOD hollow shafts for low weight and cable routing, WVD solid shafts for higher bending stiffness.
🔧 Surface - Hardened and ground raceway for ball bushings with defined roundness and roughness.
🏭 System match - Matched to Bosch Rexroth ball bushing guides, shaft support blocks and end caps.

Typical applications: Precision steel shafts carry the ball bushings in handling axes, feed units, test rigs and special machinery. Selection follows the axis diameter and length, the choice of hollow or solid shaft, and the support: unsupported shafts need a larger diameter or shorter spans, continuously supported shafts allow higher loads.
