I am searching for containers for our semi-solid fat, that will be used for both food and personal care industries.
The container I am looking for should meet following specifications:
Food grade
Stable for fats and oil (no oxidation through light, metal, oxygen etc.)
Suitable for nitrogen headspace
Volume: 25 - 30L
Moq and price?
To be stored between -20 C up to 80 C. Min 60 C.
Re-closable lid
Leak-proof
Would the ER 30-375+D be suitable for this? Or what containers would you recommend?

The ER 30-375+D (30 L, Ø 37.5 x 37 cm) meets part of these requirements:
- Food grade: made from food-safe polypropylene (PP) in Germany.
- Re-closable and leak-proof: the lid closes tightly and suits liquid contents. The tamper-evident tab doubles as an opening lever.
- Volume: 30 L ISO volume, 45 kg content load, 225 kg top load.
Not covered by the manufacturer's specifications:
- Temperature -20 °C to +80 °C: no temperature range is specified. PP tolerates warm filling well, but its impact strength drops below 0 °C. Test before use at the lower end.
- Light and oxygen protection: the pail is traffic white (similar to RAL 9016). PP is not an oxygen barrier, so it does not protect like a metal or barrier-layer container.
- Nitrogen headspace: the lid seals tightly, but gas-tightness over longer storage is not specified.
Sizes in the same series: ER 27-375+D (27 L) and ER 32-375+D (32 L). Each size also comes with a metal handle and handhold (suffix +DM, e.g. ER 30-375+DM), which helps at 25-30 kg filling weight.
